Lost your phone

If your device was lost, stolen, or may be at risk, our Customer Support team is here to help you recover access safely and ensure your account remains secure.

Depending on your situation, follow the steps below to restore access and protect your Safe2transact account.

If you have access to your phone number (SIM card is restored) and 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) was not enabled on your lost device

  1. Reset your password. Create a new, strong password to prevent unauthorized access.
  2. Login into your Safe2transact account.
  3. Enable 2-Factor authentication (2FA) for login to add an extra layer of protection.
  4. Monitor your transactions regularly to ensure no unauthorized activity has occurred.
  5. Lock account immediately, if you suspect your account may be compromised.
  6. Report suspicious activity to our security team without delay.

If you have access to your phone number but 2FA is linked to a lost device

  1. Contact Customer Support at support@safe2transact.com or through our Contact us form.
  2. Request a 2FA reset.
  3. Log in to your Safe2transact account, using your old credentials.
  4. Once logged in, complete an Identity Verification (IDV) check to confirm your identity.
  5. We highly recommend resetting your password straight away and enabling 2FA again to keep your account secure.

If you have no access to your phone number

  1. Contact our Customer Support at support@safe2transact.com or through our Contact us form.
  2.  Request to update your registered phone number.
  3. Log in using your current email and password to complete the verification. A login verification code will be sent via SMS to your new phone number.
  4. Once you log in, you will be prompted to complete an Identity Verification (IDV) check to confirm your ownership.
  5. After successful verification, we highly recommend enabling 2FA to secure your account.
