Lock or unlock your compromised account

If you suspect your account has been compromised, you can lock it to prevent unauthorised access.

You should only lock your account if someone has gained unauthorized access to it. You can unlock it again by contacting our Customer Support again.

Update account security & lock your account

  • Reset your password.
  • Sign in to your Safe2transact account. (link to sign in page)
  • Upgrade or reset your 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)
  • When in customer portal select Support -> Report security issue from the sidebar.
  • Select ‘Suspicious activity’ topic.
  • Select ‘Lock account’ or ‘Unauthorized access’ subtopic.
  • Describe the issue.
  • Confirm if you would like to lock your account.
  • Submit a report.

Unlock your account

To regain access, you will need to reset your password and confirm your phone number.

Steps to unlock your account:

  • Contact our Customer Support through Contact us form (select Account, security, activation and verification → Unlock account topic) or via email support@safe2transact.com.
  • Request to unlock your account.
  • Log in to your Safe2transact account, using your old credentials.
  • Once logged in, complete an Identity Verification (IDV) check to confirm your identity.
  • We highly recommend resetting your password (link) straight away and enabling 2FA (link) again to keep your account secure.
