USE strong password

Your password is the first line of defense for your crypto wallet. Create a secure password using a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Avoid personal details such as birthdays, names, or common words.

It’s best to choose a password that is long, unique, and not reused on other websites. A password manager can help you generate and safely store strong passwords so you don’t have to remember them all.

Important: Safe2transact representatives will never ask for your password. Do not share it with anyone.

set up 2-factor authentication

Enabling 2-Factor Authentication for login adds an extra layer of protection every time you access your account. In addition to your password, you will be asked to enter a verification code from the Google Authenticator app.

This keeps your account secure even if someone obtains your login details.

2FA is also mandatory for all transactions to ensure your funds remain protected. Even if someone gains access to your account, they cannot move or spend your assets without your authorization.

We also recommend avoiding public Wi-Fi when accessing your account, logging out once you are finished—especially on shared devices—and disabling browser autofill or saved passwords for extra protection. Keep your antivirus software up to date, and stay alert for scams or fake profiles in crypto communities, as phishing attempts are common.
